A round-up of some books by Black authors I have enjoyed! Ummm, as you can see I don’t read a ton of literary fiction so the list is a little unbalanced Big smile

Brother, I’m Dying by Edwidge Danticat – autobiography/memoir (extremely emotional read, so proceed with caution! I finished it a week ago and I’m still reeling)

The City We Became by NK Jemisin (urban fantasy/LGBTQ – became a fast favorite of mine after one read. Looking forward to reading it again)

Chain-Gang All-Stars by Nana Kwame Adjei-Brenyah (dystopian fiction/political satire/LGBTQ)

Black Leopard, Red Wolf by Marlon James (dark fantasy/high fantasy/LGBTQ)
